4 years experience in Government contracts business development, working with contracts (bids & proposals) in the government and/or military sector to include: pricing, negotiation, contract administration and compliance

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS: 5 years in government contracts and business with some government accounting experience. 3 years sales and/or customer service exp. in the aviation parts sales/distribution and/or mfg. industry.

Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM), by NCMA

Duties / Responsibilities

This position exists to execute direct and Third-Party US and foreign government contracts. Prepare proposals and bids to the government entities for all materials distributed or manufactured by Aviall. Ensure compliance with government laws, rules and regulations; and administer records, documents and reference materials related to government contracts and compliance. Properly execute US and Foreign government contracts while ensuring the company’s status remains in good standing with all government agencies and entities. Manage all aspects of the Aviall small business program to include increasing small business expenditures and completing the annual small business commercial subcontracting plan.
