Summary
The Task Card Writer is responsible for developing and maintaining NAA task cards to be in compliance with NAA Maintenance Program requirements.

Qualifications
*A minimum of one to two years of relevant experience is required.
*A&P License is preferred but not required.
*B757/767 aircraft familiarization is preferred.
*Must be knowledgeable in the essential functions of Microsoft Office products (Access, Excel, Word). Ultramain experience is preferred but not required.
*Must possess solid technical writing skills.
*Must possess an excellent ability to understand and interpret technical data.
*Must be highly detail-oriented.
*Must have the ability to take initiative on a given task and persist with the task to its completion.
*Must be able to identify problems and their sources. While not necessarily accountable for the solutions, an individual must be able to identify potential resources to help in the decision making process for a particular problem.
*Must possess an ability to manage one's own time, to ensure that the work that needs to be accomplished in a given time frame is, in fact, accomplished. The ability to prioritize the work provided by others in terms of importance is imperative to this position.
*Must have an ability to self-monitor one's progress and abilities, so as to determine areas for potential development and growth within the company.
*Strong communication skills: must be comfortable engaging in a variety of different communicative modes (verbal, non-verbal, and written). In addition, the ability to listen actively is important for this job as well.
*The ability to process information from a variety of sources and to articulate information in a meaningful way to one's co-workers or supervisors is critical to this position.
*Must have a strong command of English language including grammar, style, and punctuation for any written correspondence or communication.
*When necessary, the ability to understand and communicate within a technical or specialized subject-matter, particularly as it pertains to aviation and the aviation industry.
Duties / Responsibilities
*Develop NAA task cards based on data published by the OEM and NAA Engineering to satisfy North American Airlines Maintenance Program Requirements.
*Perform NAA task card corrections based on data published by the OEM and on data provided by Engineering.
*Ensure all corrections and modifications to task cards are recorded in the Master Tally Sheet.
*Work with the Supervisor of Maintenance Programs and the NAA Engineering Department on developing new task cards based on NAA operational needs.
*Support NAA personnel during A/C checks by providing task card corrections as necessary if found during the check.
*Test new UltraMain updates and provide feedback on the task card writing program.
*Continuously work on improvement of NAA Task Cards to assure all Maintenance, Inspection and RII requirements are met.
*Other duties as assigned to assist North American Airlines in achieving its operational goals and objectives.
